Shah Rukh Khan Has Over 227 Pairs Of Footwear

Shah Rukh Khan's fetish for shoes is well-known.
And so, it's just right that he'll soon be seen endorsing a popular footwear brand. Says he, "To be really honest, I have a fetish for shoes. I am very particular about them being comfortable."
That's not all, Shah Rukh can compete with Bollywood's leading ladies when it comes to numbers. "I have 227 different varieties and designs of footwear," he says, adding, "I am sure that's much more than what one human being can wear in a lifetime."
SRK also has a lot of special memories connected to shoes. "My first secretary, late Anwar, he liked wearing sporty shoes. He would always tell me, "The only thing I've ever asked you for is, shoes." I used to get shoes for Anwar and my kids (Aryan and Suhana)," he recalls.
In fact, Shah Rukh buys shoes for his eldest children - Aryan and Suhana - even now. "They are both athletes and ask me to get them football shoes. I buy them... I haven't played football for two-three years, but I have a fetish for getting the right football shoes for myself," he confesses.
So, how has it been, walking in his shoes? "My journey has taken me beyond what I had dreamt of. Though, I had no dreams, I just wanted to work. Whenever I am feeling a little result-oriented, all I think is, when I started off, I never thought about any result or end. It was never about the money I wanted to earn, the houses I wanted to buy, the awards I wanted to win or the number of films I wanted to do. I just wanted to do good work. God has been extremely generous with his blessings upon me," he signs off.
